On September 9, 2025, The Great Dempseys won the 2025 NYC Big Book Award for New Adult Fiction and the 2025 NYC Big Book Award for Romance. This means that, as of this writing, The Great Dempseys has won ten (10) awards!
I can hardly believe how successful my book has been. When I entered these contests, I did so with hopeful thinking, but I certainly never would’ve imagined that my book would win. Many of these contests have authors who are traditionally published and far more well known than I am. To be able to compete with them is so surreal.
